What is Companionship?
What's Included?
Emotional Support
Active listening and conversation to foster emotional well-being, and offering reassurance and assistance with reading and writing.
Mental Stimulation
Focus on keeping the mind sharp through engaging hobbies and games. We also encourage discussion of current events to maintain cognitive function.
Leisure Activities
Providing support for outings and planned recreation (going for walks or visiting community centers.) Also involves accompanying the senior to social events.
Meal Time Support
Offering reminders and encouragement to eat and drink enough water. It focuses on making mealtimes enjoyable by sharing the meal together and assisting with setup.
